Pedvak has ample experience in design and manufacturing of special purpose doors like Blast Resistant Doors (STEEL/ RCC / CONCRETE FILLED STEEL DOORS) of Type Single/Double Leaf Swing and Sliding (Top Hung / Roller Sliding) Doors.
Our designs/FEM reports will be vetted by professors of premier institutions such as IITs/VNIT, etc. as per customer requirement.
Our designed door frames can easily have installed in the reinforced concrete wall and the frame assembly has an optimized pattern for transfer of the blast forces into the surrounding wall.
We have further improved our design capabilities and manufacturing facilities to meet higher order requirements in this area. We are Approved Vendor to DRDO Ministry of Defence and designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned Blast Resistant Steel & RCC Doors of different blast pressures, up to 32bar for various defence projects across India.
Further, we have ample experience in design, development and implementation of latest automation controls with VVVF Drive, Servo Motors, PLC, HMI, RRC, for various equipment. We have supplied with above controls for logic based operations in doors.

Pedvak has designed, supplied and commissioned Blast Resistant un-seated Steel Hinged (Single/Double Leaf) of different sizes width ranging from 0.70m to 4m, height ranging from 2.0m to 5m and thickness up to 400mm for Armoured Rooms to Defence.
Also Designed and supplied Thermal Insulated Blast Resistant Single leaf and Double Leaf Swing Doors for emergency exit for blast pressure up to 3bar including Blast Resistant Fixed Glass Windows for 1200×1200 opening.
Blast Resistant Sliding Doors :
A. Blast Resistant Motorized Steel Sliding Doors
Pedvak has designed, supplied and commissioned Blast Resistant Steel (Top hung & Roller) Sliding Doors around 22Nos of different sizes for higher blast pressures up to 32bar with Motorized and Manual operated Blast Resistance Doors including development of PLC Control for interlocking, Testing and transfer management system for Defence projects.
Also Designed and supplied Thermal Insulated Blast Resistant Single leaf and Double Leaf Swing Doors for emergency exit for blast pressure up to 3bar including Blast Resistant Fixed Glass Windows for 1200×1200 opening.
B. Blast Resistant Motorized RCC Roller Sliding Doors
Pedvak has designed, supplied, installed & commissioned Blast Resistant Motorized RCC Sliding Doors around 12Nos of different sizes width ranging from 5m to 6m, height ranging from 5.0m to 6m and thickness ranging from 600mm to 1000mm to different projects of DRDO, Ministry of Defence Projects, BHEL & ISRO.
